You can carry it with yourself whenever you are taking a vacation to some other place. Without causing any overload of technicalities it can be used for dual purpose. It can used for both astronomical and terrestrial viewing. You do not require any set up or any kind of installation for this product. It is an easy to use product which can be used right after you receive it. Highly sturdy German equatorial mounts stabilizes this telescope making it durable. It uses 1 lithium battery which is included in the box of content. Clear view Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ telescope has two eyepiece. Among these one of them is a 20 mm eyepiece offering 33x magnification. The second eyepiece is of 10 mm offering65x magnification. In order to give you a clearer picture this telescope has been coated fully with glass optical parts. Its focal length is of 650 m along with a large aperture and light gathering ability which lets you view the planets and satellite clearly. Lens coating is that of Aluminium. Most of the things have already been taken care of and do not require any labour from your end. Tripod to make it easy It is not easy to explore an altogether different world of stars and planets, yet this tedious task can be made easy with the help of a sturdy tripod. Correct angles and positions form an important part of this process and to make it convenient for you, we offer a pre-assembled tripod. It comes with a manual motion controls which helps in smooth operations. The tripod has 1.25-inch steel tube legs. It forms an important part of the product as its positioning will decide of the kind of view you will have. Now gather your family and friends and show your astronomical skills to them. Teach kids about the universe and expose them to the world of mysteries, encouraging them at an early age to solve a few of them. Sky Level 1 Planetarium software Celestron AstroMaster 130 EQ telescope comes with the Sky Level 1 Planetarium software, a CD-ROM which has the information of about 10,000 astronomical objects along with their visuals. With a little more effort on the users part it becomes easy to use this data in order to identify various planets and other celestial bodies. It uses Newtonian reflector for its optical design and has CG-3 Equatorial as the mount type. Its highest useful magnification is 307x.
